Birthdays are special occasions that bring joy and excitement to both children and parents alike. And when it comes to celebrating the 5th birthday of a little one, the event becomes even more memorable. Recently, Gali, a vibrant and adventurous child, embarked on a thrilling rainbow ninja-themed birthday party that left everyone in awe. In this blog post, we will dive into the magical world of Gali’s fifth birthday celebration, filled with vibrant colors, imaginative play, and unforgettable moments.

The biggest challenge presented with this party was to marry Gali’s love for rainbows while also incorporating the strength and beauty of the ninja culture while it being fun and cool for a pool party. We ended up loving this summer color scheme for this little ninja.

To highlight the ninja culture, all throughout the party we added paper lanterns, Chinese lanters, Chinese umbrellas, and my favorite, the ninja cutouts.

The celebration kicked off with a ninja training session led by a professional martial arts instructor. The children learned basic martial arts techniques, honing their agility, coordination, and focus. Through fun games and challenges, the little ninjas embraced the spirit of teamwork and discipline, all while having a blast.

To foster creativity and allow the children to express themselves, crafting, braiding, and tattoo stations were set up where they could choose various designs. The kids eagerly painted and decorated their headbands and did their favorite spray painted tattoos.

And the party didn’t end there, the kids soon jumped in the pool and enjoyed the endless floats and toys available in the pool.

Be our Guest at our Beauty and The Beast Inspired Baby Shower

With Beauty and the Beast being one of the movies of the year, we felt very fortunate to be able to bring our own version of Be Our Guest to life for an intimate baby shower. Two things were crucial to our mom-to-be: 1. Making sure we incorporated the Italian feel of the venue and 2. That it wasn’t all about the movie characters. So what do you do when you can’t add characters? you come up with an extra beautiful, romantic design that encompasses the essence of Belle and the movie. Here is what we designed for our mom to be!

All You Knead Is Love Bridal Shower

 We had the privilege of creating a beautiful vintage baking themed bridal shower for a very special bride and it was really important for us to create a space that showcased her love for baking in all of the special details. Everything during this shower was personally created thinking about our sweet bride.

One of the first things we did was go on the search for the perfect venue to fit this baking inspired bridal shower… and we found that place in The Garden Room at Soyka Restaurant! This family friendly setting was the ideal palette for this romantic and rustic event.

Guests were welcomed with a dreamy escort table beautifully garnished with baby’s breath. The vintage mixer was enhanced with a bouquet of flowers and elegantly accented with baking books to complete the whole look of this table and set the tone for this brunch.
